About Us

Founded in 2000, Envest is a private equity firm located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  We invest in privately-held companies throughout the East Coast and rank among the top five private equity firms investing in Virginia.  Since inception, Envest has created three limited partnership funds totaling $162 million in capital.  Envest Ventures I closed a $40.8 million fund in April 2000, invested in 13 companies, and has exited 12.  Envest II closed a $48.3 million fund in March 2004, invested in 11 companies, and has exited 2.  Envest III closed a third fund of $72.7 million in May 2008.  Envest III has since made 4 portfolio investments.
